Fresh, fun
centerpieces
Simple yet delightful,
these three table designs would brighten any holiday party
setting—individually or as a group.
The Fourth of
July is the perfect excuse for an outdoor barbecue or casual
cookout, and these designs would make great additions to
your customers’ tables, whether they be outdoor picnic
tables or indoor dining-room tables full of summer fare. A
variety of design combinations can be made by adding foil
stickers and fresh flowers, but remember to keep the color
combinations bright, simple and informal, to keep the
lighthearted spirits of the holiday alive.
HOW TO:
1. Prime a clay pot with silver spray paint. Let dry
until tacky. Then thoroughly cover the silver paint with a
coat of white spray paint.
2. Once the white paint dries, add a variety of
small, brightly colored stickers to the pot.
3. Line the pot with a layer of plastic-coated foil
to form a water-resistant barrier. Then add floral foam
that’s been soaked in a flower-food solution, and arrange
flowers.
MATERIALS: White spray paint from Design Master;
silver spray paint from Floralife, Inc.; Plastifoil® from
Highland Supply Corp.; Delphiniums, roses, Alstroemerias,
clay pots, stickers and floral foam from favorite suppliers.
