Golden accents “glam up” the traditional holiday plant.

Poinsettias are
favorites among consumers at Christmastime, and since their
sales can be a real boon for floral departments, take a few
beyond the basics for maximum upsell.
Here, golden accents dress up a scarlet poinsettia, playing up
the popularity of the metallic hue for the holiday season.
Different values of gold are presented on the various botanical
elements that fill the container, which also contributes another
golden tone to the palette. The gilded materials include fresh
artichokes brushed with paint; Magnolia leaves with a marbleized
finish, created with a mist of water followed by a mist of
paint; and red dogwood branches coated with a shimmering spray.
MATERIALS:

Hypericum, Magnolia leaves, artichokes, red dogwood
